Designing and stitching original counted cross stitch samplers is a favorite past time which, in 2009, turned into a small side business called Silver Creek Samplers. My designs are available through Hoffman Distributors as well as Yarn Tree.

On the final day of Market, I had a chance to meet Nuri Abdur-Rauf of . “Grace Wisher”, one of Nuri’s new releases stopped me in my tracks. The composition as well as the story behind it is fascinating. I thought it was a reproduction, however it is her ORIGINAL design! It will be exciting to see what Nuri designs next.
