The single chair salon is open Tuesday 9 am- 5 pm, Thursday 11 am- 7 pm and Saturday 8 am- 4 pm, CURRENTLY BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Amy specializes in “less is more” natural looks including cuts/blowouts, grey coverage and smoothing treatments, using products by Wella, Sebastian, Brazilian Blowout, Keratin Complex and styling agents by VERB and MONAT. For sale you will find things both new ( graphic t

ees, jewelry, plants, candles and more) and used/repurposed (furniture & home decor). Items sold at Trappings will not be found on Amazon, are created by local artists and/or sourced from like minded companies. All items for sale can be found under the highlights section on Instagram .

NEW PRODUCT ✨

I am VERY excited to now be offering .essence Whipped Tallow in the shop. In my 40s, my skin has increasingly become more dry. I’ve used several different plant based products over the years. While several of these products I do like, nothing has given me that moisturized feeling quite like this whipped tallow. It has always been very important to me to offer things in the shop that I 100% believe in and this is one of those products! Whether you are trying tallow for the first time or a long time veteran, I encourage you to come in and experience these products for yourself. ❤️

Welcome to the shop “Big Sur In A Bottle” sacred mist spray

I was so excited to stumble upon this amazing spray. Created locally by the lovely Lisa Hudson Healing & Arts. This special aromatic spray is wildcrafted in the Wise Woman Healing Tradition of Folk Herbalism– honorably and sustainably harvested. 100% organic in small batches, combining the peak energy and essence of flowers, herbs, fruits, and spices infused in a blend of local spring water, vodka and pure essential oils. They are bottled in gorgeous glass bottles with gold tops. Personally, I love using this spray first thing in the morning, as well as in the evening as I wind down. It’s a great way to both elevate and/or ground yourself and your space.

There are quite a few new followers so I thought it was time for a (re) introduction…

Hi!! 👋🏻 I’m Amy! Owner, buyer, social media operator, sole employee! WELCOME TO TRAPPINGS! This space truly brings me so much joy! I hand pick each piece of clothing, furniture and small houseware item with purpose. The challenge of curating a cohesive collection of things gathered from all over drives me. I love to create spaces, putting things together that might not match and make each person who walks in feel at home, even if some of the items might not be your vibe.

The goal has always been simple. Design a space that I love. Bring in pieces that bring me joy. Reuse as much as possible. Offer quality that everyone can afford. Be unique. I want Trappings to be a place that you feel good in. A place that anybody can shop. Somewhere you can find something you have been searching for and something you didn’t know you needed. A place that offers second chances to pieces that didn’t quite work out for someone else.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Thank you for being here! 2025 was a year filled with closing chapters and new beginnings. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for coming along for the ride! I’ve so enjoyed every chair chat, haircut, closet swap, and dressing room confession. I cannot wait to welcome you back to Trappings in 2026! SPECIAL HOURS:

The shop will be open Dec 22 & 23 for some last minute shopping. The shop will be CLOSED Dec 24 - Jan 4 for some family time & a shop refresh.

Thank you SO MUCH for an amazing 2025. I cannot wait to open the door in January and welcome you back to a fresh new space that I’ve been working hard to bring to life.
