Who loves Puddings? 🙋🏼‍♀️
Did you know that Pudding Stones can have different colored quartzite matrixes?
These sedimentary conglomerates are very unique. I’ve found that different areas have different colors of Pudding stones. This is a mix of Lake Erie, Lake Michigan, Lake Huron and field stones.
It was my first time to Wisconsin so I was excited to find their purple variety.
I started working with them this week, grinding on my lapidary machine & they were fantastic!

What a fun afternoon at for our Geode cutting class. I got to cut open 15 Indiana Geodes I found. They were amazing on the inside of course each one being unique. We even had some agate 👀 on one. Which one was your favorite?

Hey Rockhounds, unfortunately due to the Toxic Air Plume we will be closed today. Wow, that’s not a sentence I expected to say. Our studio is within the radius of concern.
I’m so excited to see everyone tomorrow, Thursday 1-7pm. Stay safe everyone, it smells funky even in the burbs.
