September has always looked good in blue 💙

Sapphire has been treasured for thousands of years, worn by royalty, clergy, and collectors who associated the stone with wisdom, protection, loyalty, and good fortune. Its name comes from the Greek “sappheiros”, meaning blue stone.

Blue is the most recognizable shade, but sapphire isn’t limited to one shade. These stones can appear in pink, yellow, green, orange, purple, white, and even combinations of several colors.

Throughout history, sapphires have also been associated with clarity, calm, focus, intuition, and spiritual protection. All these qualities helped give the stone its almost mythical reputation.
