“Puente”. In Mesoamerican mythology, the jaguar represented the night sun, traveling through the underworld after sunset before being reborn at dawn. In this collection of sculptures, I explore the theme of The Interconnectedness of All Things, reflecting the intricate web that binds nature, humanity, and the cosmos. Bronze, an ancient alloy, relates to human history, while concrete, a contemporary human-made material, reflects the modern world. These pieces evoke a sense of harmony and balance, encouraging viewers to recognize the invisible threads that connect us to each other and to the world, emphasizing that we are not isolated but woven into the same universal fabric.
