For this ring, the path was clear: choose a 3 carat round diamond from the case, pair it with a 14k yellow gold mounting with diamond side accents, and have our team assemble it in house for the client’s deadline. Story time. A client brought in an older family ring with a center diamond, diamonds in the halo, and rubies. We reworked those stones into something new.

Her new engagement ring keeps the original center diamond, now flanked by two rubies from the original piece. Then we used more of the original rubies and diamonds to create a matching men’s band.

The vine and leaf details tie both rings together, so the set feels connected without being identical. This is one of our favorite kinds of custom work. Tell us what you think.
