I found these smoky quartz beads, and knew how I wanted the earrings to look. Unfortunately, my first attempt was flimsy, and the beads caught on the wire. Luckily, the answer came to me sooner than it usually does! ;-) The before and after are like night and day...

Back when I first got injured on set and started working with wire and stones, the first thing I tried was chain maille. I purchased base metal jump rings for practice, and ended up making this bracelet, with faceted peridot rondelles. I then started learning wire wrapping, and moved on to the myriad of bracelets that I'm known for.
Last month, I found this first bracelet. 😍 I needed to remake it with gold filled wire (the cheap original wire was tarnished), and I am officially starting on a new line of bracelets! Ordering different faceted rondelles now.... 😁
