So...my beautiful granddaughter, Emmy was the first one to have one of my gypsy coats. This Christmas we added a new addition to our little circle, Samantha. She's a beautiful American Girl doll. It seemed only fitting, that since Emmy and I both have and wear Gypsy coats, Samantha should have one too. Now she does. Shhhh..., she doesn't know that yet, it's a surprise. Amazingly fun to make.

Well as you can see my Gypsy clothes really came in handy in Montana....gypsy coat, gypsy hood, felted scarf, arm warmers. Only thing cold was my hands covered in commercially bought gloves. Next time I guess I will need to make my own
