Our Story

Terra Moderne was created to give women what they deserve in jewelry: natural and clean designs with quality materials and craftsmanship. We partner and collaborate with local and global artisans to create affordable, hypoallergenic, non-toxic, handmade, sustainably made and ethically sourced jewelry. Our styles are trendy, unique and fashion forward, and appeal to many different tastes and lifestyles.

We never sacrifice quality for quantity and ensure every detail of our designs are expertly crafted. Using raw materials, our goal is to create one-of-a-kind pieces you will treasure that aren’t chemically treated and mass produced. Know too that when you shop Terra Moderne, you’re not just buying intricate, handmade art-you’re helping to make an impact for local and global artisans who dedicate hours to days curating the designs you love. You’re helping to make a difference.

The Founder

An environmentalist, experienced fashion blogger and health advocate, Kyla Jones founded Terra Moderne to give women what they deserve: beautiful, clean jewelry. After falling ill in 2019 with thyroid cancer and several other health conditions, Kyla realized she needed a lifestyle change. Upon healing, she discovered that to lead a healthy life she needed to rethink the goods she used and consumed.
