Skyline Chess Founded by two London-based architects, Chris Prosser and Ian Flood, Skyline Chess takes iconic arch Be it a one-off set or larger runs, anything is possible.

Founded by two London-based architects, Chris Prosser and Ian Flood, Skyline Chess takes iconic architecture from around the world and pits the greats against each other, bringing impeccable design and gamesmanship into a beautiful set. As flatmates, Chris and Ian would play chess in the evenings and concoct the architectural skylines of their dreams to compete in theoretical games, thus creating

the concept of Skyline Chess. The idea of products being a memento of relationships and occasion, combined with an architect’s eye for design, led to the creation of a truly unique take on an ageless game. As unequivocal ambassadors of craftsmanship, the quality of the materials used have been carefully selected and every detail meticulously considered. For the Luxury bronze sets, a lost-wax casting technique that dates back over 6,000 years is used by a foundry run by a small family business in the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham, safeguarding a timeless skill whilst creating a timeless game. The bespoke design service is an integral part of the Skyline Chess offer - bringing poignant horizons to life for private and corporate clients alike in a range of different materials, including bronze, metals and marble. Chris and Ian have capitalised on their individual skills, knowledge and experiences to design the products and grow the business to where it is today, reaching a global audience whilst ensuring an intimate experience with each and every customer.

A first glimpse of the Indian Monuments Metal Composite Edition, a chess set celebrating India’s extraordinary architectural heritage.

Spanning cities, centuries and architectural traditions, the set brings together six of the country’s most distinctive landmarks, each carefully reimagined as a sculptural chess piece.

The Gateway of India plays the Pawn, while the Lotus Temple becomes the Rook. The Red Fort takes its place as the Knight, with Mysore Palace represented as the Bishop. The Taj Mahal stands as the Queen, while the soaring Qutub Minar presides over the board as the King.

Each piece is cast in a specially developed metal composite blended with metal powder, combining intricate detail with a substantial feel and subtly metallic character.

A celebration of history, culture and design, translated through the timeless game of chess.

The Indian Monuments Metal Composite Edition is now available to pre-order on our website.

It was a real honour to meet the Antetokounmpo brothers in Athens and personally deliver this one-of-a-kind chess set, created as a private commission for their family.

Conceived as a sculptural family portrait, the set places Charles and Veronica Antetokounmpo at its heart as King and Queen. Thanasis, Giannis, Kostas and Alex are each represented through individually sculpted basketball poses, alongside custom basketball pawns.

Every piece was cast in solid bronze and mounted on a Greek-inspired architectural plinth. The figures are brought together on a bespoke marble chessboard featuring a vivid, Pop Art–inspired composition of places, achievements and personal details from the family’s story.

From the initial concept and sculpture development through to the finished handcrafted set, every element was created specifically for this unique commission.

Our sincere thanks to Kyriakos Kyriakopoulos for commissioning the set and entrusting us with such a personal project, and to GIorgos Hadjigeorgiou for the original artwork created for the board.

A very special project for a remarkable family.
