Went to the Getty yesterday and, as usual, ignored most of the big picture.

I end up looking at the same things every time —
old manuscripts, ceramics and glass from the 1500s, tiny details in paintings of Venice 🇮🇹 .

The way patterns repeat, how color is layered, how something small holds so much attention.

Back in the rhythm of the studio… even if I’m moving a little slower than usual.
