The brooch/pendant was probably made in the 90s. I can’t be sure of the exact year.
Yes, that is one of mine … it’s handmade and one of a kind from my Bali workshop, the mother of pearl carving made there as well, image taken from antiquity. The freshwater pearls are from China. It’s both a pendant and a brooch to be worn on a heavy chain or rope necklace. Retail was $900, sold at Saks Fifth Avenue.
Made in my workshop in Bali, Indonesia, all by hand, no molds or castings. The silver is purer than sterling, which is 925; I used 980 parts pure. Based on the neoclassical design, my influences were from a trip to Athens, Greece!
