A few of you have called upon me to elucidate upon the post from yesterday. I'd like to begin by saying that I am only dealing in first hand experience - not hearsay or rumors.

To bring it back to the beginning - I, as an authorized representative of this company, entered into an agreement with an authorised representative of Thane's Table to carry some of my product on consignment. There is confirmed corroboration to this agreement.

When the new solo owner came into possession of Thane's Table, that legally carried both the assets and the liabilities of that business. That included the outstanding debt to me. When I asked to be paid out, I was informed that it was not a business debt, but rather a personal debt with the former co-owner of the business, and that it was outside of the new owner's control. I was also informed that it was not anything that would show up in their POS system.

So I sought help from another employee of Thane's Table, who quickly found my payments owed in the business point of sale, and it was she who paid me out promptly and professionally - NOT the new owner.

So when I advise you, friends, to not patronize Thane's Table, it is because the owner is untrustworthy with people's money. No more, no less.

It's a shame, because I really used to like it there.

Do not patronize Thane's Table. The new owner chose to lie to my face rather than pay out the consignment I was owed. Dishonest at best.

Clarification: another employee went around the owner to pay me what was owed. It’s the owner we take exception to as a spectacularly unethical individual.

hey everybody

Not that we're super biased, but there's an amazing game space in the Denver Metro area that is in pretty serious peril of closing. Because of reasons that are frankly, evil. This is a small, woman-owned business with people trying to help their community, and now they need us.

Since I know this is a space where heroes hang out, please do us a personal solid, and check it out, and do what you can to help.

Before it had even begun…. Due to several unfortunate circumstances, Thane’s Table is already in peril of closing. Our doors just opened Thanksgiving of 2022. We had planned to open in the summer of 2022 but due to permitting issues, opening in the winter, and several unforeseen events, our door...
