Privately owned and female founded- we have made and shipped

over 1 million earrings worldword and employ 90% women. Shop N&S pieces in one of our three retail locations: Kansas City (2) and Dallas and over 50 retailers nationwide.​

After our founder, Kilee Nickels, was unable to find a gold version of her favorite statement earrings, she decided to design her own out of leather she had on hand from her previous accessories business. Little did she know that these teardrop statement earrings would spark a movement and introduce an innovation to the accessories market – lightweight statement earrings that leveraged the versatility, durability, and feather-light weight of premium Italian leather. Nickel & Suede’s statement earrings soon developed a cult-following and a community of women excited to try something new. Fast forward seven years, and what once began as a side project run out of the Nickels’ small basement workshop has now evolved into a national brand with three retail locations, and a design office and production facility based in Kansas City. 🌟WE’RE MOVING🌟 And we have a few dates you should know:

KC STORE: Temporarily closed August 24–31 while we move. We’re hoping to welcome you to our new store beginning around September 1, but stay tuned for the official opening date, hours + piercing availability!

ONLINE: Keep shopping! Our website will stay open throughout the move.

SHIPPING: Our warehouse will be closed August 26–September 2, so orders placed during this time will take a little longer to ship. We hope to resume shipping around September 2 and will get your orders out as quickly as we can once we’re up and running.

We’re not closing- we’re just moving, and we’re so excited for what’s next! Stay tuned for updates as we get settled. 💗

Our new Nickel and Suede location is coming together. Stay tuned for soft opening and grand opening dates.

Our warehouse is also moving and will be shut down Aug 26-Sept 2ish. Orders will be paused for shipping but we will ship as quickly as we can once we are up and running!
