Starting over and finding a new team was the hardest thing I had ever done but boy did it pay off.

I will scream this from the roof tops. Please find a team that loves and believes in your pony and vision. Not every pony is for every program- and that's okay. Good day are great and bad days are better if you know your team loves what they are working with.

Without Lex's trainer in Tennessee she would probably be in a field. It took the right people that wanted to see her figure it out to be who she is today. Was it easy? It never is. But she was worth the change 🫶🏼

As many of you know, we took a break from showing after winter circuit 🧘‍♀️

While our leased ponies have been holding it down in the ring, there’s been a lot happening behind the scenes with the ones still under our care 🎬

We couldn’t be prouder of how far 5ive has come in such a short time.

Huge thanks to Patricia for your unwavering commitment to the big picture and your trust in the process with our green ones. You’re truly irreplaceable — we’re lucky to be able to do this from a country away and know things are still being done right. 🇺🇸 🫶🏼 🇨🇦

Thank you, Samantha Smith, for stepping in this week. We’ve heard for years what a talent you are, and we feel incredibly fortunate you were willing to lend your gifts to 5ive. You’re not only a talented rider, you’re gracious— we appreciate you more than you know 🌟

Qualifying for Devon in 7 shows after a year off was a feat in itself.

Not showing in the smalls since March, probably not how one should go into a major qualifier.

But here we are, wrapping up Devon 2025 with a championship in the Small Pony Hunters for So Enchanted 🏆 🍋 🎡

Firstly I would like to thank my sister, Jess. Thank you for understanding what Lex means to me. Thank you for giving me a credit card "for emergencies" which we ended up using to show Lex on this winter and you didn't ever make me feel badly about that 🤣💕 I'm sorry you couldn't join in this year, you were so missed🍋

If you're lucky, you find a team that loves your pony half as much as Shadow Ridge loves Lex. We are so profoundly grateful for your help this fall and winter with her. Thank you for helping us get her back in the ring and being her biggest cheerleader in the process. It was so nice having her back at her second home. Thank you for remembering her 💕

Patricia-thank you for letting Lex live with you, and all the work you and your team has put in to getting her back to this point. She is so incredibly happy and the best she's ever looked. You truly are the trainer of a life time. Thank you for all you do for Lex and Lacey 🤝

Caroline- without a doubt this pony would have a very different future without you. Now your role is equally weighted in helping both her and me figure it all out. Thank you for your updates, patience, and leaving us feeling seen and valued. You brought the magic to the mare in your junior years, but now as the pro setting her up, you truly make her so enchanted to watch. Thank you for your early mornings, late nights and making time in your life for us 🫶🏼

Lacey-it was so nice to finally be able to meet you. Talk about queen of consistency, even at a major show 👑 So glad to have you as part of Lex's journey. Thank you for loving her as much as you do. Can't wait to see what your future holds in this sport 🏆

I hope the fellow underdogs who follow our journey continue to find inspiration in an opinionated little chestnut mare. There will always be highs and lows, but what truly matters is the people you surround yourself with to help you through it. We are so grateful for our team. 🦖
