I never, ever close the shop down until the end of the day, because sometimes a little last-minute magic happens...
This WONDERFUL couple walked into the shop at about 10 minutes before Closing Gate on the LAST day of the LAST weekend at KYHRF. Pretty much all the vendors around the shop had already closed down and dipped. These two BEAUTIFUL CREATURES pretty much took my breath away. I told them they looked amazing, and they were so gracious in saying yes to my request of using my fairy box to capture their images 💜 We were all just hanging out and discussing costuming and they saw IT. The siren song of the Golden and Amethyst chain lured him in (and does he NOT resemble Tom Hiddleston??!?), and that was that. I created that one-of-a-kind necklace a YEAR ago, during the run of the Faire, and it had caught the eye of many people, but no one ever seemed 'right'. Now I know why... It's because the necklace waited until someone worthy of it walked into the shop. Their Home Faire is Bay Area down in Florida, and hopefully I'll get to see them there!! 😊
