☀️ What's one color you've been drawn to lately? Summer sunsets in Santa Fe always give me a new hue to think about, a new color to chase. I’m looking forward to doing some more painting this year and creating oil paint that captures what I see…. My color? A dreamy, ethereal pinky-peach!

I love this moment captured by my grandfather of my mother and grandmother in France, 1950’s (60’s?)—I can just smell the salty air when I look at it and feel the sun on my face. While this wasn’t my memory in particular, it is similar to some of my own: long beach days, the taste of the ocean, that feeling of endless summer.... Those memories found their way into these incredible opal earrings. Sometimes a jewel carries more than beauty—it carries a story.
