It's been a long time since we've posted anything, and as I often say "Life be lifin' hard" lately, so there hasn't been a lot of time for projects like I would like. But we did have the extreme honor and privilege of creating a new stole for a repeat client by request. In my excitement to get it in the mail, I never got a final picture but here's the work in progress... This was a reversible stole with an African theme. It was commissioned as a gift by the lovely wife of pastor in South Carolina on behalf of one of his parishioners. Hopefully these images capture some of the design process as well as the design itself. Each stole I've made has been custom designed for the individual (with the exception of the four "Jesus Cross" stoles, which where similar in design and at the time they were made, not designed for anyone in particular, I just felt like making stoles that day LOL). I ask for input from the individual, but in some cases, such as this one, I'm sometimes given a free reign over the creative direction it takes. However, if something specific is requested, I am certainly willing and able to accommodate those requests as best as possible.
