Some pieces of jewelry look simple when theyโre finished, but what you donโt see are the many hours that go into creating them.
I start with sheets of silver and wire, and from there every detail is built by hand. The silver spheres are individually made, embellishments are hand-hammered and shaped, and each element is carefully soldered into place. After that comes rounds of filing, sanding, polishing, and finally setting the stones to bring the whole design together.
Intricate pieces like this take patience, problem solving, and a lot of time at the bench. The value of handmade jewelry lies in the care, craftsmanship, and purpose involved in each step.
Supporting small and local makers means supporting real people putting their time and skill into something meaningful, instead of mass-produced pieces made in a factory.
And truly, thank you to everyone who has been following along with my jewelry-making journey. Your encouragement, kind words, and support mean more than you probably realize. It makes all those long hours at the bench worth it. ๐คโจ
