After I graduated from 'The School of the Art Institute of Chicago,' where I studied ART HISTORY, COSTUME DESIGN, PATTERN DESIGN and FASHION, I developed my own techniques, concepts and embellishment ART. Wearing my own designs in San Francisco, CA. I was noticed by top boutique shop owners and buyers in 1982. They stopped me to ask, "Are you the designer of your fabulous jewelry!!?" I said, "Yes
, what can I design for your shop?" And the next thing I knew by 1984, my B'YONDA JEWELRY DESIGNS went nationwide. Selling from my Chicago based Representative, Esther Mann, in the Chicago Apparel Center. Esther Mann, mother of movie director Michael Mann, was my 1st representative and put my designs on the map!! Next, I had 7 representatives nationwide...Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Los Angelos, Dallas, Las Vegas and Florida. My 1st big department store trunk show was in Palm Springs CA. at BULLOCKS, then Macy's and Nordstroms. My B'Yonda Jewelry Design's were sold to many Fashion Stylist for many shows, photo shoot's and many celebrities, seeing my jewelry designs worn by OPRA WINFREY, DOLLY PARTON, CHER, SHEILA E, MELANIE GRIFFTH, SHEENA EASTON, PAULA ABDUL, IVANA TRUMP, TANYA TUCKER, MELISSA ETHRIDGE, PHYLISS HYMAN and several MISS AMERICA PAGENT WINNERS. My designs were worn in 'The Untouchables, Straight Talk and Coming to America' movies. I designed jewelry and accessories for over 60 Fashion Event's at The LIMELIGHT Night Club in Chicago and also many more shows at The Park West, Avalon Club, Rocket 69, Crystal, Chicago, Los Angeles, Dallas, Miami, New York Fashion Center's. I designed for specialty boutiques and designer shows for Betsey Johnson, North Beach Leather, Issey Miyake, Andriana Fur's, Reginald Thomas, Jacher, Michael Spears, Sterling Cappricio, Panache' to name ony a few. My award winning jewelry is a 'Fashion Forward Style' a step ahead direction in the Fashion World. It is Glitzy, Colorful, Timeless and very light weight. I design a 'comfortable pierced and fabulous 'clip' earring in all sizes. I will create a LOOK especially for 'only you' on special orders and color's. I design 'LIMITED EDITIONS' using UNiQUE and SELECTIVE findings and beads. I will design jewelry for your special customer, for you, your store, your events, your fashion line, individual customers...YOU!! I will design from a photo of you, your fashion line, your outfits to accessorise, and fabric swatches.
