I’ve been absent for a while from the book of faces but while I’m here ☀️ I’d like to drop a few truth bombs:

F**k the ice occupations.
Believe the victims, arrest all involved and demand the use of “public defenders” while they wait in the system … and cell.
Eat the rich. (Or just tax them.)
Tax corporations; humans deserve more rights than them
There is no such thing as an ethical billionaire. It’s hoarding.
Support local businesses.
Ukraine is still being attacked by Russia.
Free Palestine. It’s a genocide.
Learn to identify AI…
The suppression, silencing, and propaganda are strong my friends.

And lastly, have a great day! Create community and spread kindness. Stay physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually safe out there, friends.

Art room semi reset night.

I organized the paint wall a bit, it’s missing colors I’m out of and/or have pulled for current projects; it still needs some work but it’s definitely better than before!

My desk was way messier than this; 20+ paint bottles, tools sprawled every where - dirty, clean, it didn’t matter. I’ve been in a creation frenzy. Just letting the energies flow out of me on to the canvases.

Tonight I calmly folded clean microfiber towels, sorted dirty/clean tools and brushes, drank water and hibiscus tea while spa music played in the background. 🧡 An intentional reset. A peaceful retreat and reset.

I also took time to record all my available art. I’ll be announcing a sale in the coming days. The available art video just needs to be edited down from the 24 minutes I babbled in exhaustion … down to something reasonable and more to the point. But if you know me you know I babble!

😩🥺🙏🏼 Officers shot with in 12-16 seconds of arrival. Did I read that right?

Where is any deescalation happening in 12-16 SECONDS, officers?

I don’t know how else to explain that a behavioral episode shouldn’t be a death sentence, but that’s exactly what it was for Victor Perez back in April.

He was 17, autistic, non-speaking, and had cerebral palsy. On the day it happened, Victor was outside with his family where he got upset, grabbed a knife and began stumbling around the yard…which is what prompted neighbors to call 911.

This week, the Idaho Attorney General announced there will be no criminal charges for the four officers involved. His office said it couldn’t prove unlawful use of force and that the officers didn’t know about Victor’s disabilities at the time.

The officers believed they faced a knife threat at close range, so under Idaho law, the shooting is considered justified.

Victor’s family argues that police should’ve attempted de-escalatation, especially considering he was on the other side of the fence and his physical disabilities very obviously prevented him from even walking properly, much less being able to scale the fence.

In total, officers fired 14 shots within 12–16 seconds of arriving—without ever trying to create distance or use non-lethal measures.

We can’t undo what happened, but maybe this can be the beginning of harder questions and louder voices calling for change.
