Summer is approaching, which means you’ll be wearing your permanent jewelry in pools, lakes, oceans, etc! Is it safe? Generally speaking - yes!

While discoloration can happen, mostly with sterling silver, you can typically prevent it by a simple rinse and wipe with fresh water after swimming! If you want a better wash, use some dawn dish soap.

Here’s my bracelet stack after being in salt water and chlorine, and I have no discoloration. My bracelets consist of gold filled, sterling silver, and stainless steel chain, and they’re all thriving.
