Here's a box I really enjoyed building for the holidays. The box is dovetailed Red Oak, with a Beech bottom. The top is Sapele with a Maple trim. Finally, the entire thing has a couple coats of our wood butter to protect it.
The dimensions are 14"l x 11"w x 8"h

✨ We're pretty excited about these new serving trays and cutting boards! These are made of different species of wood 🪵, that have been reclaimed from a local manufacturer, that were destined to end up at the landfill.

Due to the nature of the material, sizes and thickness vary, to reclaim as much of the wood as possible.

We have a few more boards to finish burning, and a few more to build. Below are boards made from Beech and Alder. Have some Walnut, Birch, Sapele, Maple boards I'm working to build. If you're interested in a custom board, made locally in NE Oregon, please reach out! Custom hand burned designs are available.

Merry Christmas to all!

Here's a video of the star I made for the La Grande downtown Christmas tree, along with the process of putting it up.

We do still have a few sets of custom coasters, benches, blanket ladders, and a couple Rustic nesting trees left for sale. We'll be taking custom orders, however we'll be taking a break until after the first of the year to catch up on a few things and take a break. Thank you to everyone, for supporting the business, during this tough year.

Pretty proud of this. The La Grande Christmas Tree was put up yesterday, and on top, is the star ⭐ I made. Felt like a pretty big honor! Check it out downtown and let me know what you think.

🎄 Spent the day working in the shop. Didn't really get any photos other than this one. It's a roughly 6.5ft tall Christmas tree (had to try the design out). All in all, pretty decent looking and other than a couple process things I'd change, I think I'll build more if there's requests. I'll stain this one to see what that looks like.

I did get a bunch of wood milled for orders and prepped the shop for the beginning of the week.

⭐ Now that it's OFFICIALLY the 2nd day of Christmas, I have a really big surprise! I'm building the Christmas Star for the La Grande downtown Christmas tree! 🎄 I'll post some sneak previews as we get closer.

Had a great time down at the La Grande Main Street Downtown trick or treat event in front of La Grande Lodge #41, handing out candy to everyone, with my Brothers. A huge thank you to my wife Rebecca, for helping gather stuff and decorating!

Also, another huge thank you to Darrin Ward, Joseph Black, Lowell Knopp, Chris Warren, Ken Briggs, Craig Sipp and any of the other Brothers (whom I may have forgotten) who supported my, spur of the moment, idea to get out in the community. We got some flyers out for Rainbow Girls, and a few brochures.

Lastly, I included a picture of the coffin, in action, on Halloween night! (It was so cool to see everyone enjoying it)

I'm sure you're dieing to find a cool place to get some candy on Halloween! Here's a commissioned project I did for the Weimer's, that turned out amazing. It's a toe pincher casket that'll have full size candy bars on one side, and cool toys on the other. Beneath it is a rolling cart to make it easier to move around.

If you'd like to see it on Halloween, head up to 1808 Oak Street in La Grande. You can't miss their place, it's all kinda of scary awesome! Go up and see them, get some candy, and let them know you heard about them from me.
