A new custom piece that was very satisfying. She’s a very small lady and wanted a tiny green pendant necklace that she can wear all the time. This is what we created together. She chose a Colombian emerald for its incredibly beautiful blue green luminosity and a very simple setting. It looked perfect on her.

Gold is insanely expensive so I’m playing with some silver designs. To be honest, I hated it at first but I’m liking this vintage feel of this piece. The entire thing is hand etched and oxidized to perfection. What do you think? More silver or more mixed metals (gold and silver)?

This was an incredibly fun project. This special lady gave me a budget and a diamond hoop and told me she wanted a necklace. I had made two others for her so I wanted to create something fresh so that she could wear all three together. The center one is what’s new. A very special necklace with very special stones. The top is a hand-carved pink tourmaline, next is a rose cut tourmaline, and the bottom is a rose cut blue sapphire. All are wrapped in 22k gold and hang on my handmade 18k chain.

Rosebud is modeling yet another new ring. These beautiful stones are Boulder Opals. Instead of the normal whitish color, they range in shades of blue/purple. I’ve set them in 22k gold with a sterling band. Because of the separation in the center, this baby is a breeze to size.
