Hello lobster life fans I am headed North tomorrow! Headed to celebrate a life well lived & lobstered by Mrs Virginia Oliver, AKA, The Lobster Lady. I wanted to meet her since the day I first heard of her about 15 years ago. Then she was 90 and I had just found a way onto my 1st boat. She was such an inspiration. Doing what she loved! They say "if you love what you do, then it not like work" I agree with it. Nothings "easy" it just at what cost are you willing to let life go by instead of being a part of it? I am honored to be able to attend this celebration of life.
After that I will continue to Stonington to refresh Stonecutters Kitchen and take in the views of the island for lunch. Then I will head back south to Harpswell where you could find me at Zach's Country store, Henry Allens Seafood or possibly out at Bailey Island General store while checking out sunset. If you see me say Hi! and catch on my fellow bug catchers! May the good Lord keep you safe and your traps full! Amen!
