So someone seen my posting about the rabbits being set loose and to message me, please don’t let bunnies loose into the wild. I got a message about a bunny needed a home, and now I have an addition. This is CB, short for Coyote Bait. She’s going to live a plush life, but the name is to remind her of where she comes from. The struggles she thankfully didn’t endure due to a wonderful lady that messaged me.

For a moment, this is her filler episode. She will be on to her next side quest momentarily.

He’s always by my side, even in his old age he is alert and ready. I don’t know what I did to get this lucky, but I’m thankful for you. I am not ready for when your time comes. Anyone else have that one dog that is just the bees knees?

Just so you know, I’m fan girling right now. Me, my idaho preferred sticker on my phone, and my idaho preferred tote bag I bring everywhere (including engineering classes). Fan. Girling.

If you haven’t heard of Idaho Preferred before you are missing out! This organization works with idaho based ranchers and producers. They help make sure idaho producers and ranchers are in your local markets and restaurants. They are a wonderful organization to be involved in and work with. I had the wonderful pleasure of going down to Boise last February to be apart of the last event. I met and connected with so many wonderful business such as Mahogany Mountain Yaks and Sun Valley Mustard (Both of which you should DEFINITELY check out!)

Basically, I’m honored. So very honored. And I hope to be a big enough regenerative homestead, feeding our locals to be able to be apart of their organization. 💚💚💚💚

With temperatures finally cooling down for the season, I’m happy to announce Mr. Potato and Ms. Zinnia are going to have babies. 😅🥰 I’m so excited to see what fur patterns they end up creating. This will be Ms. Zinnias first litter if she takes.

Also, random fun fact that ain’t honestly super fun, but it is a fact: NIC has a big rabbit population on campus as well. The story I was told goes a little like this:

There was 4H family that did rabbits. When they decided to get out of rabbits, they let them loose. So the rabbits of Downtown CDA, the NIC campus, and if not even the ones up by Parker Subaru are all descendants of the 4ah rabbits.

Do NOT be those rabbit owners. Do not let them out to the wild. Please. It is not a safe environment for them as they are not bred for that, but it’s also no good for the natural environment as it’s not growing for them. I would rather take them off your hands than you dump them into the wild.

Being an adult with a small business is so unserious at times.

Who would have thought I’d be out here with a scale weighing tomatoes in a gas station parking lot for someone that wants locally grown tomatoes on a random day of the week out of the back of my car? Or doing banana bread drop and go’s by request at a 48 hour notice?

No one could have told me this 10 years ago and would expect me to believe them. I am so thankful, but you got me out here feeling like a drug dealer some times 🤣😅
