I've been enjoying vintage jewelry and various other things since I was a little girl and my grandmother let me play in her jewelry box. The designs and fantastic glitter got my imagination started on a journey which continues to this day. I especially love wondering about the people who have enjoyed the pieces before me- what their lives were like, what occasions they wore the pieces on, what his
tory they saw. I enjoy the magazines for the ads and the stories, what was chosen to profile and why. The ads are a peek into what was probably the idealized everyday life. It's especially cool to see the real-life versions of the die cast cars. One of my greatest thrills was rolling them across the kitchen floor as fast as possible, and just maybe seeing the car crash into the wall. A couple of notes- I try to keep prices reasonable, so please respect that the prices noted are the final or best price. I try to be thrifty for everyone's sake, as well as eco-friendly, and will occasionally reuse boxes it they are clean and suitable. I have no problem, of course, using a brand new box and am prepared either way :) I always include a packing slip and tracking is included in the postage.
