My name is Marlena, owner and artist of Meraki. I was born with an imaginative creative spirit. I have always been inspired to create with my hands, heart and mind. I have spent more than half my life designing jewelry, teaching classes, trunk shows, home/birthday parties, participating in community events; Gowns for Prom and donating to local organizations/charities. My inspiration comes from nat
ure, my husband (my muse), family, friends, people my life, memorable moments and the little critters we are lucky enough to have claimed us as their people (Bane, Makaya, Ninja, Chancellor, Karma and Battle Cat). I aspire to design one of a kind (O.O.A.K) that are made from semi-precious and precious gemstones, natural pearls, precious metals, vintage piece and upcycled treasures. Every design is made with all my heart and soul, I want each piece to feel good in your hand, please the eye and inspire your heart. My hope is that when you wear a piece of Meraki, it brings a little bit of happiness to your heart. I try to do my part to pay it forward by shopping for my supplies from small businesses, local shops and fellow artisans. After all we need to support each other.
