Beautiful powder brow on my favorite client😍
When I first started PMU I took a few basic microblade trainings. Unfortunately, some people are not great instructors even though they might be great service providers. It was an expensive lesson I learned but Im so glad I did. It forces me ti take the initiative to seek out education and a wide variety of techniques in the PMU world.
Four summers ago, I realized with microblading I was extremely limited. I did my best to learn proper techniques and learned advanced strokes and patterns. But I was still limited to only young skin and clients between 18-28.
So I took on the world of machine work 🤯
My PMU career opened up to this authentic and artistic approach. It was difficult to learn. But Im so glad I did. With the machine my clientele is endless and I have such control over how realistic the over all look of the brows.
So when you see terms like Powder Brow, Nano Brow and machine strokes etc. its really just a fancy way to say permanent makeup using a tattoo machine.
The tattoo machine uses cartridges that contain a wide variety of needle configurations. ( this is the versatility I was talking about) Using a machine is suitable for any skin type. The machine causes way less damage and heals easier.
So with this special client we decided to give her a beautiful shape. Instead of bringing the tail if the brow down. We slightly move it up and out. This opens up the face and tends to give the illusion that the eyes are lifted.
Powder brow is a more defined style of PMU. The tail and middle are usually more dense shading. Then when we move towards the front im gradually taking longer pulls, so that the shading is less saturated and more pixelated 👌🏼
Are these brows gorgeous or what?
