The Louisiana Trade Knife No.9 Hand forged from 1095 high carbon steel, this blade carries the rugged character of a working frontier knife. The handle is sand-cast brass giving the piece the weight and presence of an old trade blade. A distressed mild steel guard protects the hand and completes the look of a knife built for the belt and the field.

Making some videos of my process and the digging, i feel like people don’t believe me when i tell them what I do and how I live my life, yes I’ve been in the shadows, yes I’ve been learning a lot and now I’m going to post about it even though I hate posting more than being burnt by fire, I’m working 12 hr days and editing videos seems like sandpaper on my eyeball.. but none the less here are some clips lol!!! took me a while to research who it was who bought this knife from me and it turns out it was Ed Roland, lead singer of .. what an amazing discovery, what a cool guy!.. we eventually talked music, ( i didnt know he was Ed Roland ) seriously were friends with half of ATL from my years with Butch, oh and my first band recorded with his drummer .... small world ... this knife has No.8 turquoise and pallasite meteorite that is older than our own galaxy.. connections are why i make knives.. discovery, shared experiences, small world .. and just so you know Ed if you ever read this.. heaven did shine a light down on me, i got to eat and survive another month to make more connections, more knives, more art, more love .. thank you 🙌🏼
