"Chrysanthemum".
Kiln-fired vitreous enamel on copper.
I experimented with a different liquid enamel using the sgraffito technique. It is quite interesting to observe the tiny golden spots that emerged after several high firings. I am thoroughly captivated by this process!

So thrilled to spot and take photos of these three beautiful great horned owls next to the Studio. Mom was very alert but calm, and her head followed me around as I was trying to get better photos. Dad was big, and I couldn't get a front shot of him. The little one winked at me, sweet! 💕🦉🦉🦉

I have been experimenting with kiln-fired liquid white enamel, exploring the effects of high fire and copper oxide. I am quite fascinated by the unpredictable color results I've achieved. There were success and disappointment along the way. I am eager to delve further into this area of exploration.
