Update :
I managed to escape the ER just a bit ago. Got home a bit after 6am.
good news: imaging looked normal
bad news: Dr said while it's only muscle and soreness issues from getting so beat up, it's only going to get worse over the next day or so.

That being said: I'm out of the hospital. We're making final preparations for our first day of classes, and as such the schedule should not be affected [barring anything ELSE happening]. However, I AM likely to be moving slow, as I'd previously warned. So your patience is appreciated while I Limpity-Do-Dah around the classroom. :)

Also I would like to thank everyone who reached out with their kind words and care through various media after hearing about what happened. Ya'll are rockstars and it did me good to hear.

I look forward to seeing you all at the con! Stay safe out there and keep an extra eye out on those City busses, apparently they have levels in rogue. >.>

Hey everyone,

I wanted you all to be aware of something as soon as I could. Tonight (Wednesday the 30th) around 7pm I came to the convention center to get my GM badges for the crew, and take some pictures to help people locate our room on Friday that's kind of hard to get to / find. Unfortunately, before I could get to that an IndyGo double length bus made a right hand turn from the left hand land and did a number on both me and my truck. Thankfully my old girl is a heavy duty tank, so I'm mostly okay. Though I am currently writing this while I'm in the ER. My hope is that it'll be nothing but muscle exertion and similarly minor issues, and not something serious. So if all goes well, it won't affect the schedule, but I hope you'll understand and be patient as I'm most likely going to be moving slowly this weekend. Though if the medical staff determines it, classes may be cancelled. If so I'll let you and GENcon know as soon as possible. That is far from what I wanted for this weekend, and like you all I was looking forward to a fun weekend meeting new people. But, regardless of what happens with me and our class, I hope you all have an enjoyable fun filled weekend at GENcon 2025.

Hey Everyone,

As some of your are already aware, Wesley Was injured on the job on the first of May. Due to how things have played out, which can't be discussed at the moment, he has actually gotten worse.
He had hoped to be better before this actually started affecting our schedule, but that has become unrealistic at this point as he is no longer able to drive.

So it is with regret that we must cancel all classes for Origins 2015.

This will also have the effect of communication and online orders potentially being delayed until further notice.

As now Indy PopCon is still on the schedule. If that changes we will post as soon as the decision is made.

Thank you for your understanding as we try to deal with this still developing situation. If you have any questions or concerns please message and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Hey everyone! Just a heads up and reminder. Whos yer Con is starts tomorrow! This year I'll not only be there to participate, but I've actually been given the privilege to run a few chainmaille related classes! Hopefully this'll just be the first of many years to come! The con is REALLY growing, and this is just one more step towards that direction.

Thank you to Who's Yer Con staff! I look forward to seeing you all there.

For those that know me and how I operate, this goes without saying. But, incase my motto of "If the check don't bounce, I don't judge," isn't clear enough to everyone else... here ya go.

This is what Wes has started working on as a personal project. Thought we 'd share.

Here I will be posting updates and images of my Chianmaille Kilt Project. Estimating around 30,000 rings, inlayed in a plaid patturn, and a time estimation of about 100hrs

Just to let everyone know. The website is currently down while we switch host services. Hopping to have it back up in the next couple days. On top of that the emailing addresses may not work for a while. HOWEVER, the address [email protected] is valid and has been tested and proved to be working after the switch over. So please direct any and all inquiry to that address.

Also we're also in the works to upgrade the website again. Hopefully with more user friendly interfaces and the ability to add even more sweet chainmaille related content.

I just crawled in the door. Gencon was especially brutal this year! I wouldn't have it any other way though :) The students were great, the room was the largest we've ever been blessed with, and we had the largest attendance we've EVER had!

Thank you to everyone who came out and/or supported our efforts at spreading the art of chainmaille this year! I hope you all had as much fun as we did! Safe journey home and see you at the next Con :-D

Hey everyone!

There's been some goofups with communication and some unfortunate events. I thank you all for hanging with me through this. Between thefts, dishonest people, and outright bad luck I've had a lot on my plate. I've ordered in more supplies to remake that which was lost. Stock will be questionable until I'm caught up again. If there's anything your wanting, just let me know because orders get put ahead of stock rebuilding. Currently all orders are caught up/ ready to go except for one and I've already been in contact with them.

Changes:
We've been at this for a while and its been a learning experience for sure. As most of you know we haven't really changed out prices wince we started out. This is going to change starting now. Those who have been coming to see us at the various fairs I've been setting up shop at will have noticed the price difference between there and here. The website has been sorely lacking in update, but I've still honored all orders placed at the displayed price. Since I've caught up on orders, and have the time. I'm changing the prices as should have been done a long while ago.

We apologize for this, but we've found out the prices just weren't sustainable. As some of you have even pointed out to us, repeatedly I might add, our prices have been "Stupid cheap." To the point of people questioning the quality of our work. With the data we've gone over we've found out that yes, you were right, and in order to keep going we MUST increase the prices of our items. Once that is done, I'll start updating again with items that I've been making and selling at conventions, but not listed on the site yet. So lots of goodness to come!
However, as you may have noticed, we've removed several items from the website. Many of these are no longer able to be produced faithfully to their image because of supply issues. As such, they have been removed until further notice. If there are any that you wanted and didn't get to order, contact us and we'll let you know the situation on a case by case basis. Thank you for your understanding.

Future:
Firstly, we're going to be changing our written policy on a few issues, namely on canceled orders. I'll get into the specifics of that once that is all ironed out.
Next: we have been attending several conventions, events, and fairs and not posting them. This is a mistake that I hope to have fixed soon. But on a similar note, we've uncovered many gems that we shall be attending. More events mean more opportunities and that leads to both the possibility of us coming to a city near you and a larger selection of items.

If you have any questions about these changes please contact us via the contact form and we'll get back to you asap.
Thanks for all the support and have a great weekend!

I've been having people for a while ask me " Hey, you guys have anything here where I can see your stuff?" At first the answer was "No" then I started bringing and hanging up photo prints of some of our work. It worked pretty well, but then I had a major disagreement with mother nature. She wanted to play with my photos and throw them around the massive campsite, and I wanted them to stay at the booth... she did it anyway. So I've been trying to come up with a solution to this... and I just came up with one: A portfolio made out of chainmaille. I'm going to start making a portfolio binder out of leather, metal plates, and chainmaille. This way I can have a place to safely store all of our photos for people to browse. It'll also be heavy enough to keep it from flying away, short of a tornado >.>

I'll post WIP pics and pics when its finished.

In preping for dragon*Con I was wondering, What questions do everyone have when it comes to chainmaille? Anything and everything is allowed. If question is "too racy" for public posting just shoot me a msg, don't worry I don't judge unless a check bounces ;)
