What are you doing in my swamp??? 🐸

“Not a Toad House, a Toad Home” was such a freeing piece to make. I took a break from my mural project to just play without a plan and out came this cutie. I wish I had a good picture of the slime trail the slug left along the back 🐌

I am so happy this beautiful lamp is going to a good home 🥰 “Roadside Bouquet” was inspired by the beautiful native plants that grow along our roads and give us little glimpses of beauty on our commutes. This one features Chicory and Queen Anne’s Lace. I look forward to making more!

I have been wanting to get into lighting for a long time now, but the non ceramic part always intimidated me! I learned a lot creating this piece and feel much more confident for future lamps thanks to the guidance of the Lamp Repair store in Rochester, my dad and his drill press, and my husband the electrician! Quite the dream team :)

While laying on the hammock with my son and looking up at the trees, I had a vision come in about flipping that around and looking down into a bird bath where you can see the tree canopy in its basin. I love how it came out and feels like the sun is peaking through the trees. Of course it doesn’t have to be used as a bird bath because I think it would be a lovely centerpiece as well! This piece is called “Forest Bathing”.

Guess who was the first to be adopted! My sweet Autumn Toad 🐸 🍁 I am beyond happy with the overwhelming support I have had for the show so far. I can’t wait for the opening coming up!

My solo show “In Your Backyard” is officially set up! I am so excited to share it with you all! This has been quite the labor of love and I am already excited about new and upcoming projects. The gallery is open and I look forward to seeing you at the opening reception on Thursday!

Loving the purple on these Geranium blooms. While being overwhelmed by all the work left before the show while juggling a newborn, doctors appts, and more, I reached out for some help. Two of my very talented teen students were excited about the opportunity and have been coming over once a week to assist with painting and petal making! My student Ezra took direction and did an incredible job with the purple on these flowers!

A little rabbit has hopped into my yard! I am so so beyond thrilled with how my rabbit came out of the woodfiring! 😍 He is just so perfect. I wish I had time to make more for the firing but this is all I could fit in before I had my baby boy :)

I don’t share much about my private life on my art pages, but we recently welcomed our first little baby boy into the world! The last couple weeks have been so full of love and family 💕 We cannot wait to see how he grows and what he creates and I look forward to doing many little art projects with him 🎨
