Sea Glass Designs by Joan I am a Silversmith Artist in Helena, Montana. I incorporate Real Sea glass in my designs along with I do not tumble or cut the sea glass to shape it.

I use real Sea glass and sea pottery that I have hand picked on my travels or from friends and family. It is exactly the way I found it on the beach. I do drill it at times. I consider the sea glass I find as Vintage because it is from old bottles, containers, or dishes that were created by the Glass houses that were around in the late 1800's, early 1900, and early 1950's. I create mostly jewelry

but also some home décor or interesting ornamentals. I have been collecting since 2009. Many pieces I have to hold on to to find a match as for earrings. I am a Silversmith and many times I find working with sea glass challenging due to the irregular shapes and fussiness of protecting the surface of the glass when polishing. The final outcome can definitely be worth it when it finished %!
