NaturallyTru Soy Candles will be at the Fulton Street ARTISAN Market on Sunday from 10am to 3pm. Dye Free Jars and Melts/Tarts. Every scent should be represented in one of the choices so you can smell the all. Coffee beans available for nose overload cases...lol.

Organic Soy Candles? Short answer is - No. 98% of the soy wax made in the USA is non-organic. The problem is in the processing of the soy oil into wax, synthetic chemicals are needed to accomplish this so the candle can't be considered organic. The other 2% is not commercially available on the market. Then there is the addition of fragrance oils which are either a blend of synthetic oil and essential oils or all synthetic oils. Wicking can be made with organic cotton; but sometimes the coating on the wick is not organic. If you are buying a candle because it is labeled "organic"; unfortunately you are being duped into a marketing gimmick. On the other hand, 100% soy wax IS vegan friendly and biodegradeable.
