Every bit of it is handmade. A peek in the studio process. If you love supporting artists and things that are handmade - I’m your gal. I’ve done this for 12 years now…and my business has seen all sorts of change.
I started on Etsy in 2012. I made rings mostly. Stamped jewelry. Soda City Market in Columbia, SC because we lived there. Dabbled in enamel and lots of random things.
2013: entered the chat.
Our daughter was born in 2014, so I loved having a home studio and grew my business presence online.
2017/2018 : Peak Instagram growth, found my style, went on podcasts, got featured in a few magazines/books.
2019: Wholesaled with in a collab with and bought land and built a house (squeals for a new studio!).
2020: What a wild year- we know this. I paused a little bit of my progression due to the move, but I got back in the groove and switched to Shopify because I was sending all my traffic to my shop anyway! That was fun!
2021: Added rust enamel color to my work and made a beautiful minimalist collection.
2022/2023: My life became a dumpster fire of everything awful and my dad passed away after being diagnosed with terminal esophageal cancer.
2024/2025: Macy turns 10. Everything online feels different. I’ve added new enamel colors and continue to be inspired by other styles and love what I’m making. But gosh, it’s just different. Reach and sales are just aren’t the same. And I turn 40 in January. Am I at a crossroads? To be determined.
But I know one thing - everything I do - I do with my whole heart. I care about what I make and how I make it. I love helping people and I love making beautiful things.
