Working on this custom belt buckle and had thoughts of ocean vibes and had to go with the cuttle fish bone cast and it only makes sense to add a bit of custom cut coral next.

It takes great care, patience, and a dust mask to carve cuttlefish bone. Shapes can be easily carved with handmade tools, old utensils, wood, or even forced impressions. But with a brittle older bone like this, I like to work with a riffler file. Jewelers how do you carve your cuttlefish bone?
