Retention tip Tuesday!
1. WASH YOUR LASHES . You're probably so annoyed with hearing us say that at this point. Dirt and oil will break down the bond of your glue and cause your fans to close up. Not only does washing your lashes help with your retention, it also prevents you from developing infections from buildup which are a no from us sis.
2. BRUSH YOUR LASHES. Brushing your lashes after washing them with a clean spoolie will keep them looking nice and fluffy! To keep your lash extensions looking their best, brush daily!
3. PROPERLY REMOVE EYE MAKEUP. Eyeliner and eyeshadow can build up along your lash line which can break down the bond or the glue and is bad for your lash health. Remove eye makeup with an oil free makeup remover and q-tip. Lingering eye makeup can also make your extensions not attach properly during application.
4. PROTECT THEM FROM HEAT. Heat from opening the oven, hair dryers, hot water, open flames, campfires, lighters, ect. can cause your lashes to lose their curl and become singed. We don't want that for you.
5. BLOCK YOUR TOXIC EX. Yes, you heard us. The salt from your tears can break down the bond of your lash extension glue to your natural lash and make it brittle which can cause your extensions to pop off. Make sure to give them a wash after a good cry sesh. Blocking your ex includes but is not limited to confusing situationships, that one ex from five years ago that won't leave you alone, and boys that are mean to you. Don't worry angel, we can always talk about it at your next appointment.
