Running these again! Let’s help this family!
Hey friends I’m holding a fundraiser for Alex and Wendy. Alex is currently in treatment for DLBC stage four, all proceeds from the sale of any of these designs will go directly to him and his family to help cover everyday and medical expenses. If you can help please do and if u are unable to purchase please share, I’ll also be posting to my personal page Julie Levet, you never know who on your friends list may be able to help, I think we all know of someone or have had experience first hand with that dreaded C word Let’s be the hands and feet! Single color designs will be $15 each and full color designs will be $18, color charts are also listed. You may choose any color and size you would like one of these designs on.
Here’s a few words from Wendy herself Alex’s wife:
“On May 23rd Alex woke up in severe pain, he called in to work and headed into ortho after hours clinic to get his back checked. The doctor saw him and set up an MRI asap. On May 26th our world's came crashing down as we received the news that the MRI found a very large mass in his spine. The mass had already gone thru the bone into the nerve bed which was causing pain, but not only that. After 2 months of bed confining agonizing pain,, and multiple biopsies he was diagnosed with Diffuse Large B cell Lymphoma(DLBC).....STAGE 4! It was inside all his bones, and many many masses in his body.. The doctor said any other forms of cancer and he would be terminal at this stage. But, this type has a really good reaction to treatment. Expensive treatment! But worth it for him to get better. He wants to fight this, we want to win! But we need your help to make it through this. In our family, no one fights alone.
Alex is a Correctional officer with Buckingham Corrections, a first responder for Paladin Medical Transport and he wants to get better and go back to work. He has never been without a job since he started working,, He just can't do it yet because of high risks work place, but he is determined and in good spirits. As his wife, I'm trying to make sure he doesn't start stressing the financial side of this when his short term insurance runs out, by making sure we have plenty to get us through that tough patch. I have reached out to friends and we came up with the idea of this and We hope and pray that it has a great turn out for us. Thank you for your time and God bless.”
