Next year I will be quitting my job of 21 years. When I came back from my missions trip the Lord clearly spoke to me and I will be quitting to be able to take out my Retirement which will be used to build a place for missionaries to come in the Philippines. As for now me and family have downsized to a one bedroom home to sacrifice my husband’s wages for one year to purchase the land on where the b
uilding will be built. As I know that he is calling me to do full time ministry/part time missionary. And so with that being said I will be opening up a local thrift store this coming next year. But I don’t have the details just yet. So I am asking for your help and support in donations and prayers. See I have been praying about this and telling the Lord that I don’t want to live off people and their support financially which we know that’s how missionaries live. So after many months of praying the Lord put it in my heart to open a thrift store with everything you could possibly think of. But it didn’t just stop there I asked the Lord how can I give back through this thrift store to the community. So I would love to give back to the community by opening the thrift store once every 6 months to give away free items to low income families. I don’t want to only look out for me and my family’s needs but also the communities needs as well. As I reach out to Lingayen in the Philippines I also am reminded that how can I reach out to others if I can’t even reach out to the ones in my own back yard. So I’m asking that you will support me in committing to donate your used item. Once every 6 months so that there is always something coming in and something always going out to the community. If you cannot donate I’m asking if you can please pass this to some of your friends or families if they too would like to be part of what God is doing through me and you for the community yet supporting me to be able to do missionary work for the communities across the world as well. Next year in 2017 I my husband and daughter will be going to the Philippines for 5-6 months to build a place for missionaries to come and be able to stay as they help the village. So I will be mastering the sewing machine starting this year and when I go out there in 2017 I want to invest in 5 sewing machines and teach them how to make clothes and uniforms for their families. So one you can help by donating into a fund I’m creating for the sewing machines
