After extensive consideration, ongoing discussions with City of Bay Minette officials, and a heavy heart, we are deeply saddened to announce that the 43rd Annual Christmas Fest has been cancelled on December 5th & 6th due to the severe weather expected in our area on both days.

✨We want everyone to know that we sincerely apologize for the impact this cancellation has on our community. We have addressed our valued vendors and explained to them our challenges with rescheduling. We truly understand how disappointing and inconvenient this is, and we do not take this decision lightly.

⚠️Please know that we explored every possible option to move forward safely. Unfortunately, the forecasted conditions leave us no responsible or feasible alternative. The weather is beyond our control, and we share in your disappointment.

🎄Additionally, due to all the moving pieces involved in making this event successful for everyone, it is not feasible to reschedule the Arts & Crafts portion of this event. Many vendors already have other commitments to other events and obligations in the coming weeks, and rescheduling would create further challenges and conflicts for a large portion of our participants, volunteers and logistical support efforts. In addition, there is not an indoor facility in Bay Minette that can accommodate the large number of vendors and attendees that may be up to 8,000 people.

📣With all that said..... The parade will be rescheduled along with the light show, video show, car show, kids' activities, stage entertainment and food vendors. An announcement on the rescheduling will be made later today.

This is a tough one... after careful consideration and everyone's safety, we have decided to cancel the first day of Christmas Fest - Friday, December 5th.

✳️If the weather is unfavorable and the event has to be canceled on Saturday, the parade and light show 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙗𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙙𝙪𝙡𝙚𝙙 for a date later next week. Stay tuned right here for that information.
✨Unfortunately, with the many moving parts involved — including scheduling with the city, our partner organizations and vendors who have committed to other events we aren’t able to shift the event to another weekend.
