TONIGHT IN THE GROVE 🎶🍔🌻

At this point, we may need to stop calling it “running to the farmers market” and start calling it grocery shopping with significantly better snacks. 😂

Because have you LOOKED at what you can get in the park tonight?!

Fresh Missouri-grown produce. Local honey. Farm fresh eggs. Locally raised meat. Cow AND goat milk. Chèvre. Cheese curds. Artisan butter. Fresh mushrooms. Herbs. Homemade preserves. Elderberry jelly. Fresh-milled sourdough. Sandwich bread. Dinner rolls. French loaves. Granola. Custom spice blends. Tea blends.

And that's before we even get to the cookies, scones, cinnamon rolls, sweet breads, cupcakes, freeze-dried candy, ice cream, coffee, refreshers and fresh-squeezed lemonade.

Y'all. We have basically become a one-stop shop. 😂

You could come to the park with an empty grocery bag and leave with half your pantry stocked, flowers for the table, soap for the bathroom, skincare for yourself, something handmade for the house, a new pair of earrings, a custom shirt AND dinner.

Speaking of dinner...

🔥 The Cocky Steer is coming to the Grove!

Come hungry because they're bringing the smashburgers and chicken Phillies, and we have a feeling you're gonna want to make room for this one.

AND while you're eating, shopping and visiting...

🎸 Chris Chiarino of Sucia Rosa will be playing LIVE from 6–7:30!

So bring a lawn chair. Bring the kids. Bring your neighbor. Heck, bring Grandma.

Grab dinner instead of cooking. Wander through the booths. Fill your grocery bags with food grown, raised, baked and made by people right here in our area. Grab a bouquet. Find something you didn't know you needed. Sit down for a while and listen to some really good live music.

Because somewhere along the way, Tuesday nights in Walnut Grove became about a whole lot more than buying tomatoes.

They've become our night.

A night to slow down a little. See people we know. Meet people we don't. Let the kids run around. Eat something good. Listen to music. Support somebody's farm, kitchen, side hustle or dream.

And THAT is exactly what we hoped this market could become. 💛

🐞 A little hello from The Artful Ladybug!
It's been rather quiet over here for a while, but life certainly hasn't been! ❤️
This summer brought a pretty big milestone to our family—our final child officially launched into adulthood and moved into his own place. After nearly three decades of raising boys, suddenly there were empty rooms...and a whole new season of life beginning.
So The Artful Ladybug got a new beginning, too! 🐞 My little studio has moved upstairs into the daylight, with a permanent worktable and room to create again. No more dragging everything out and putting everything away every time inspiration strikes!
Today I finally sat back down with my polymer clay after several months away. I wasn't entirely sure my hands would remember what to do. 😂
They did.
🏀 A new pair of basketball earrings
🐉 A long-awaited dragon pendant commission with matching earrings
🐦‍⬛ And a little replacement pair of raven earrings with tiny roses after the mini Aussie destroyed my last pair...
It felt SO good to create again.
The Artful Ladybug has been quiet—but she hasn't gone anywhere. In fact, I think she's just getting started again. ❤️🐞
