Before my last show this weekend, I was in Maine at a house my grandparents have had for over 60 years. I’ve spent summers throughout my childhood and adult life there - and have a lot of ties to Maine in my work (more on that in another post). One favorite each visit is the Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland, which has amazing art and a really lovely gift shop.

I’m thrilled to announce that my is now for sale at the Museum Store!!

If you are in the area, come see my work there - and of course visit the wonderful museum itself. It’s really world-class. 😁

Day after an art show sometimes means drying out displays when it’s rainy - this is the first time I’m drying out displays due to HUMIDITY alone! My foosball table has been taken over by ring forms and wood panels, and my necklace busts are on all sorts of surfaces for a couple of days. A good show this weekend, but WOW was it muggy! Next show not until Labor Day, so it’s time to reset.

The sun is starting to peek out! Me and my not-so-little dragonfly friend are here at the Morton Arboretum Wine and Art Walk (booth 54) from 10-5 today. Come see some new work in wood inlay, lost wax casting, and mixed metals!

Well the morning rain is clearing up in the gorgeous Morton Arboretum! I’m here for the Wine and Art Walk, today and tomorrow from 10-5. Here with new wood and silver inlay pieces, sterling silver, and mixed metals.

And I have my little (big) friend here!

I was going to post a recap of my weekend in Appleton at the Trout Museum of Art’s Art at the Park - but will wait on that, as I just heard storms and a major tornado did some major damage to the city of Appleton! My thoughts are with this lovely small city and the welcoming people I met there this weekend. This weather lately has been no joke.

Just a few pictures to show how lovely the park is (was; maybe - hope damage isn’t as bad as I’ve seen).

A gorgeous day to set up! I’ve traveled across state lines plus quite a bit - if you’re near Appleton, come by tomorrow and Sunday from 9-4! Booth F13 once I actually am set up…

Haven’t had a chance to post! Was working on this new design - Cocobolo and silver inlay, with a design on the back of the Cocobolo tree’s leaf. I’ll be personalizing more necklaces in this style moving forward.

I’m at the Glenview Art League Fine Art Fair today and tomorrow, 11-5 each day! The smoke has cleared up quite a bit and there’s a breeze…I’m in booth 56!

It’s day 2 of the ! My wood necklaces are popular, but I still have this great Buckeye Burl and silver inlay triangle piece (and many others!). I’ll be here 10-6 today, in booth 42 not far from the Music Box!

A busy start but I’m here at the today and tomorrow! Here with some new work in mixed metals (including sliding/spinning tube necklaces), wood with silver inlay (some with combination wood!), and lost wax cast pieces. 10-7 today, 10-6 tomorrow in Booth 42!
