I grew up in the Appalachian Mountains in the 1950's just a hop and skip from where Dolly Parton was born and lived. We had similar upbringing and I always identified with her childhood. So sad to hear of her passing, she was someone I always looked up to, an amazing singer and wonderful business woman and with her charity work she always gave from the heart and always humble. This world lost an angel today but God had other plans for her to be with Carl.
