Well it’s been a few weeks but I just wanted to share my trip to Emporia Kansas for a week long stone setting class. I’m sooooo glad I did this. There is so much to be learned and practiced in this kind of trade work. The people we got to meet, masters of their own art, sharing their knowledge with us, was priceless. We were lucky to have John Sorich IV as our instructor, he was so patient, kind, and made the learning so fun! All the staff at GRS TOOLS made us all feel so welcomed and I would love to take more classes with them! I’m so excited to start practicing what I learned but still settling in after my studio move and catching up on custom work. Soon little Jedi, soon.

After ten years at Bench, I’m Moving!
This is hitting me a little hard. I didn’t think I would get so emotional making this decision but here we are. Don’t look me in the eye when we talk about it 😭😂
I have made so many new friends and have designed SO MANY pieces in those years. It’s wild. This place was my sanctuary. My peace.
I’m ready for this. I’m so excited to see where this goes and to experience something new. I’m ready to meet a new community of artists. I will also be having a roomie! and I will be sharing a studio at just up the street! This will be a quick transition and will be in the new place by June 1st. I will need some time to get moved and set up in the new space sooooo I may not be taking many appointments in the next couple weeks.
Thanks to everyone that has climbed those damn stairs to see me!
More to come!

My little collection is coming along, let’s call it the “Dark Sea Collection”. A compilation of my familiar styles and collected gems to keep us close to those mysterious bodies of water without getting in too deep. (Insert dad joke)
First available at April 18-19, 10th Bancroft! 🖤💙🩵

A double snakey pick up day! We designed this snake signet after my pinkie ring just bigger and with diamonds. The gold and diamonds came from repurposing some pieces she had and I’m so jealous! The heavy silver snake we paired with a gold nugget from her family. She’s really growing her HK stacks. 🖤🐍

A super pretty rework for a new bride! This marquise is so beautiful and had such a unique cut. I think the new setting is doing all the justice for this pointy bad boy!

What’s your least favorite color?
Mine is red. Here’s me trying to step outside of my color comfort zone. 😆 While at the Tucson gem show this year I was so drawn to this red coral and couldn’t wait to use it, so I paired it with some sand colored rose cut diamonds. Be on the lookout for more of this. I think it’s a calling from the ocean. This Pisces needs the water.

A custom pair of 14k yellow gold and champagne diamond water cast studs made for a client. I melted the gold and dropped into water to form this water puddle like shape. It took maybe 20 attempts to get a matching pair but eventually it happened 😆🤩. Patience grasshopper.

2026 Tucson gem show was a week ago and I wanna go back right this second. 😭
Coming from Omaha in the winter, and coming off the holiday rush, this trip is my yearly gift to myself. Plus I get to hang out with ! Every year I learn a little more about gems and get to meet the gem dealers who I trust and will continue to purchase from year after year. I cannot wait to show you what I brought back! If I sourced a stone for you I will be reaching out this week ✨🌵💛
