This is bananas. My hair wants to be curly. One day only. Totally because it’s iraining./ snowing. It’s usually WAY too dry here in Utah for my hair to curl at all. It usually only looks like this at the ocean.

Little owl on our walk. I did a double take. A neighbor a few houses away has a fake owl in his gable. This one is real. Cute and sleepy. ❤️

I haven’t made very many pieces of jewelry this year. My hands are very shaky since having covid last November. But I collected some lava beads in Iceland. I made these three pieces—a pendant for Paul and earrings for Zoe and Rei. Paul reminded me to get a pic before giving them away.

Went paddle boarding with . Sitting down in the shade for a little snack. Missed a spot on my leg and got a little sunburn. Arms feel like rubber. This is a good workout!

Felt super yucky today. The air quality is not great here in the upper Midwest. My asthma is really bad. Really wanted to take a nice long walk along the Mississippi and sit on the screen porch, but instead I sat inside and stitched. Had a boogie salad for dinner that was really yummy, and took a photo of a river island. The Mississippi is wide enough in LaCrosse that it has several large islands. The beach is Pettibone Park.
