For years I thought the answer was more discipline.
Eat less.
Exercise harder.
Drink more coffee.
Push through the exhaustion.
Sound familiar?
Meanwhile my body was doing the opposite of what I wanted.
The weight kept creeping up.
My energy would crash in the afternoon.
Sleep was inconsistent.
And the brain fog during menopause was no joke.
What most women don’t realize is this…
When your body is stuck in survival mode, it protects energy and stores weight.
Your nervous system, cortisol signals, hydration, and minerals all play a role in that equation.
When those signals are off, your body behaves differently.
So instead of fighting my body harder… I started supporting it differently.
One small shift in my morning routine made a bigger impact than another extreme diet ever did.
Better energy.
No afternoon crash.
46 pounds gone… and stayed gone.
And what surprised me the most?
This simple approach is now being talked about more and more in functional and medical spaces because it helps stabilize the signals your body relies on.
Sometimes the biggest changes don’t come from complicated protocols.
They come from simple habits done consistently.
