As a Smith on Instagram and Facebook, I'm facing a challenge many others are also dealing with: the sharp rise in precious metal and consumable material costs. In just a year, silver prices have more than tripled, with a significant spike in the last 2 months. To keep up, I'll need to adjust my prices soon. I'm exploring alternative metals and designing more material-efficient pieces, but it's daunting, especially with some fellow Smiths considering closing up shop. Your understanding and support mean a lot as I navigate this difficult time. I welcome any feedback.

Here's a story behind the scene : these are my gorgeous nieces, and one of them received a special bangle from their Mimi years ago. After my oldest sister passed away 2 1/2 years ago, my other sister suggested melting down family gold to create three more for the others. The original maker didn't have a mold and said it was ok to copy it. This project was a labor of love, with a lot of procrastination and determination. Now, these girls have a piece of their Mimi on their wrists. All the bangles are 14k gold, and I'm relieved I don't have to keep them safe anymore (Have you followed the gold market?) 😂. Thanks to .spencer.art and for helping create precious family heirlooms.

Just a few more days till Christmas. I’m winding down for the year and mostly finishing up last minute gifts. These London Blue Topaz dangles have been on my bench for a while and I thought I’d give them a facelift and a better photo. The photo still doesn’t do them justice. The stunning London Blue gemstones make these earrings perfect for dressing up or down.
