Well it’s official. My first baby graduated today @ 8pm and has turned into a beautiful chocolate smart woman. We are so very proud of her for taking her first steps into adulthood & her future.

Thank you to all the teachers, counselors, coaches from New Jersey, South Carolina, Georgia and finally Kentucky. (They say it takes a village to raise a child). And with all of them Aaliyah did it.

Thank you to my wonderful husband Christopher Hicks-Blakeney for helping to shape our young lady, our baby is no baby BUT she’ll always be our baby. We love you Aaliyah! You did it 💜.

Hey everyone Liyah’s Closet is thinking about hosting a Spring Fling Jewelry Class @ Casey County Extension Office who would be interested?

We would provide all the material for a fun time of jewelry making. We’ll also have burgers, hots dogs, drinks & a buffet of snacks.

The list of jewelry and accessories would include bracelets; beaded & charm, necklaces, rings, earrings, keychains, wristlets, pens, perler jewelry & accessories, baby pacifier clips, teether necklaces, glasses chains, pants chains & so much more!
