Did you know the same chain can look slightly different depending on how long it has been worn?

The chain in the front is a sample piece. The chain with the mama connector has been worn every day for about one year. They are the exact same 14k gold fill chain.

One of the most common things I hear is: “I love this chain… I just don’t know if I want it to be that yellow.”

That beautiful bright buttery finish is called Hamilton this is a very common finish for 14k gold filled.

So if you love the chain but feel unsure about the brighter yellow tone when it’s brand new, know that the finish will naturally mellow with time. Whether you love that fresh golden glow or prefer the softer champagne look, your piece will continue to evolve.
